Silly me... put my PlayBook down somewhere in the house, can't remember where so now I cant find it!

I can connect via Bluetooth and invoke remote but that's not helping me. Can someone link me to something noisy I can open on the browser?

It will turn up, just want to make the job easier somehow!

    Thanks.

PS - RIM I do hope you are taking notes, and will build an extension to bridge for situations like this.

You need to download the Redenbacher App.
It leaves a trail of popcorn where ever you wander.

    Good luck with your search.

It's in a convertible case, so that might hamper the light search but will give it a go.

is there a record of my playbook pin on the box? as I cant say I know it off the top of my head.

How big a house do you have? .

I assume that you have retraced your steps like where you were when you saw it last? You checked under the bed ... under all couch and chair cushions ... under all couches and chairs ... under the dirty clothes on your bedroom floor .... under all the loose papers on your desk/dining room table/kitchen table or any other flat surface where papers/junk accumulates? How about all blankets & linens on or off your bed? Did you check your car? Don't forget the back seat, under the seats and in the trunk.

    Hope you find it soon!

Well full-on search starting today. I have been in all the rooms I last used it but not looked under everything.

I am the same with my phone but at least I can call that easily!

It has turned up safe and well, by other half packed it away with her laptop in a cupboard!

I thought i had gone mad for a bit there! Used her PlayBook to video call mine and traced the sound.

    Normal service can resume now

ahah great story and great solution!

Better save my pin for a situation like that ^^

But i think that wont happen : I'm too much of an addict to leave it. I know exactly were it is

I came back from a bike ride a year or so ago and quickly put my bbphone down in that dark basement. I could not find it. And while I could call it, it would go to voice mail before I could track its location. Now I have "find my phone" and it makes a disturbing racket if I misplace it.

Maybe we all should set an alarm on the pb for a particular time of the day. At least during that window (set time) you might be able to find it. Hmmm, 3AM, not much competing to make noise at that time of day!

Back to Cokiak's resolution - don't you hate it when someone else "cleans up!"
