Micro Hdmi from PB to Hdmi on laptop ?
Hello everybody
,
Do you know if it's possible to use the micro-hdmi - hdmi cable to mirroring the playbook screen on a laptop screen.
I'll finish my exam and i've to do a presentation, and like the presentation mode match with bb bridge is awesome i plan to use it.
But i don't know if my college video projector get the hdmi input. If not i want to my laptop as "data sender" if possible.
Will do something like this PB - (Micro hdmi out) -> Laptop - (HDMI in) --> Laptop (dvi out) --> Video projector (Dvi In) !
It's not possible i'll buy something like this Adaptateur HDMI femelle - DVI-D māle 24+1 pins contacts or 24k: Amazon.fr: Informatique
Thanks for your information !

It's unlikely to work, since the laptop most likely has a hdmi OUT, not hdmi IN. The only thing that might work would be to somehow use the usb ports also, but I just don't see it working without some custom drivers written which you likely don't have the time or skills for. HOWEVER the PB should be able to connect directly to the projector, that should work, and you just control everything on the PB.

The adaptor in question should work just fine.
I have used them in the past myself.

To capture HDMI, you need something like Blackmagic.
