Honestly, all these problems after every OS update threads wreak of either a propensity for bad luck or trollish attention seeking behaviour. An automatic reboot of the device is built into the OS upgrade process as evidenced by the "bubbles" screen during the reboot sequence.

tried that, didn't bring back the icon.

i'm usually not a hater but losing so much money on rimm stock today plus using their buggy products is making me want to jump on the aapl bandwagon.

You could check the other tabs (Games, Bridge, Favorites) or further down the page.

But if that fails, I guess you need to reload the OS either doing a SecurityWipe or Debrick.

    Good luck

tried everything, guess i'll have to do a security wipe and re-install.
will this wipe out all the apps i bought on the app store?

does anyone feel the browser is a lot slower with the new upgrade?

my unit can't even play cnbc videos smoothly anymore!

A simple restart should solve your problem.

My browser seems faster than ever.

As for CNBC, they're pretty much a bunch of tools. I only watch it for the tickers and announcements. I swear that if I see one more ****** touting supply side as the answer to the failure known as supply side I'm going to puke.

Before Wiping or Debricking. Use Desktop Manager (DM) to back up at least your settings and apps. I did my own backup and then restoration of mp3, pictures, video, etc.

DM will also restore settings/apps. But the Appworld will retain what you purchased or downloaded so you can regain them.

if you delete a app somehow it will be visible in appworld -> my world-> uninstalled
    even after security wipe.
