I am a bit annoyed, I have lost the ability to play music and radio on my PlayBook.

The feedback sound on the keyboard is working as it should but for some reason I just can't get the radio or music player to work.

Any suggestions as to what the problem could be??

I use to lose sound too with .1088 operating system version. I have to reboot to bring sound back.

In my case I suspect that sideloaded app "Words with friends" (maybe any other too) is guilty. But, yes, is a very annoying problem.

Did a REBOOT fix it for you? The answer could help others if they lose their sound.

For me just a reboot is the simplest solution, yes.
