my lock button has been missing since i wiped out last night ...what to do ??

Yep... set a password! the PB will not lock with out it...

Swipe up from bottom bezel
Tap Settings
Tap Security
Tap Password

And it'll "lock" after the time you specify, requiring you to enter the password before continuing.
