Since day 1, my Playbook has never been able to live stream anything . It just buffers and buffers for minutes and minutes without any activity.

I know it's not my wifi speed because speedtest says I'm doing 20Mbps.

It won't even play the Al Jazeera live stream app or any other live stream in the browser.

How can I fix this issue? Why does it continuosly buffer?

I just watched my Bears playing the titans for more than 3 hours without any problem at all.
I am able to watch movies or tv shows or news and listen to radio stations since the very first day that I got my PlayBook and that was 18 months ago.

Well that's very weird. I've tried debricks. I've tried changing my wifi's. I've tried everything. It just buffers forever. I would think 20Mbps is quick enough to live stream.

The stronger the password encryption, the harder it is for streaming to work properly, because data has to be encrypted and then decrypted all the time.

Try changing the wifi security and maybe setting the PlayBook's IP to DMZ so the firewall doesn't get in the way.

    Cleaning cookies may also help.

Just type Abc live streaming on your browser(google search) and it will take you to a page where you will see it.
Then when you open the site you will see the sports that you want to watch then you will see the list of games and
that's it. Actually very good site, hope you like it, too.

One thing is your broadband speed, another the wifi signal strength from your wifi router to your PB. If you are in the -40dB range, you should be good to go.

I've. Tried many of those live sports streaming sites, those annoying ads on the screen that you just can't get rid of will drive you crazy. If someone knows an easy way please share it.
