I was reading on another thread http://forums.crackberry.com/f222/em...bridge-613047/ where someone was having problems with email attachments. So I decided to do my own test.

I emailed myself 4 different emails with .xls, .docx, .pdf and .xlsx attachments. All of them were small files. I was able to open all except the .xlsx file. When I tapped the attachment it said the following: "Attachment not on media card"

I called tech support and after a few minutes I was told that this is a known issue that they are working on and will address in a future release.

There work around for now is to open the email on your phone and save the file to your media card then you can open it on the PlayBook. I told them that is pretty cumbersome and they agreed.

And dataviz last released the BB version a year and a half ago...RIM owns this company.... shouldn't we be getting a V5 version for playbook none of this low end stuff in v 2 mode
