Default Just thought I would share some pictures taken the Playbook camera.

The playbook camera is not perfect (for eg. I would love to be able to tune my exposure settings.) However with some work, it does take some beautiful pictures. Note, none of these pictures were edited at all.

Autofocus also would be nice, but as camera is not PB's primary function, it's ok

Why is it that when people show off the pics they've taken with their PB, it's always mountain views or a sunrise. How about some hot chics.

you've inspired me to post a few of my recent PB photos... and like you, I haven't edited these at all.

348: this morning's sunrise over Puerto Vallarta
347: last night's rainbow over Puerto Vallarta
284: snowy scene at Lake Louise, Feb., 2012
251: out the bus window on the way from Whistler to Vancouver, Jan. 2012

Hope you guys like these. And yeah, more mountain & sunrise pics for me. One man's sexy chick is another man's precious daughter... so I'll stick with landscape shots, thx very much!

Looks like you're staying in the heart of PV; lucky you. I've been a few times but always stayed in Nuevo Vallarta. Nice, but not very authentic Mexican.

Never stayed in Nuevo... it's not my thing to stay at posh all-inclusive resorts. The heart of the old town here is a little unpolished shall we say, what with broken sidewalks, beggars, dog droppings & trash... but there is an undeniable charm in the friendliness of the local people and the old style of Mexican buildings & lifestyle... sidewalk food vendors, etc. It's fairly easy to find decent affordable condos for rent, all within walking distance of the beach, shopping & restaurants. I love it down here, not just as an escape from the cold!

If the call were mine to make I'd have stayed in the city. As it was I was tortured into an endless stream of cocktails on the beach.

Thank you for some really nice photos. Here's one I took in Vernon, BC last summer. I think pb can take some nice pics, especially for the photo challenged like me!
