OK, let me know how it works out, I am not going to be in a rush this time, my PB has been slow since the last update.

at least the update got the default browser to load the Adobe AIR keyboard (at least) 4 times faster than before the update, where as before it took 10 seconds for it to popup in the browser environment...

My Bridged email is working just fine. The browser does seem to be loading and running faster, but that may be only because the device was rebooted. I do note that the Crackberry app seems to scroll faster (in the right-side forums window). All-in-all, worth the 500mb+ download (for those just tuning in, my upgrade had two segments...the 133mb bundle that almost everyone seems to be seeing, followed by a 406mb set after the first one installed).

It's not sideloading if I have to go into developer mode, use a series of programs, convert the apk to bar, etc. Sideloading means I download an apk file and tell the PB to install it, and it does.

This happen to me as well. The original update was the same as what everyone else was getting but I managed to lose my wifi connection about a third of the way through. After it restarted the download it increased to 400mbs! My guess was that the Playbook deleted some important files when I loss the wifi connection.

I just finished the update. Noticed that pages load somewhat faster, although there is still a slight lag. Haven't found anything else yet.

So I know people are interested in browser performance and lucky 2 days back I performed the browsermarktest on play book and the result was ~1950 and 51% better than other tablets.. Now with the update its 2075 and 70% ..so they did improve it.

    I'm interested on this too!

I will try when I arrive home. But I don't think they added this feature and didn't tell us anything.

    Cheers from Barcelona! ;-)

    Hi All
Have just downloaded the latest update for PLaybook... Went to bridge to my Z10 and it is still just displaying the Readme file after the Z10 and Playbook are bridged. Am I doing something wrong... Thought we were supposed to now get a few features on Bridge and Z10???

BlackBerry haven't announced the roadmap for Bridge functionality, they are aware of our complaints though. Go and look at the 11 page Bridge thread.

That's almost certainly going to be down to licensing. And if they didn't at launch, not sure why that would change?

Is there any suggestion that AC3 audio will suddenly become support at some point?
