Includes the following updates for the W-Fi only PlayBook:

I'm actually updating my PlayBook right now as well but I decided to look up information about this update the second I saw a notification pop up on screen in BlackBerry Desktop software with my PlayBook connected to my laptop. The update process seems to smooth and quick for me so far.Thanked by 2:carlyincanada (02-15-2013), victoriavictor (02-13-2013)

I guessing that now that BlackBerry App World is now called BlackBerry World on PlayBook, we'll be able to access movies, music, and TV shows all from BlackBerry World just as if we were using a BlackBerry 10 device like the Z10. That would be pretty amazing.

I was wrong. Unfortunately for us PlayBook owners, BlackBerry App World just simply got re-branded to BlackBerry World. So, we'll have to wait till the PlayBook gets updated to BlackBerry 10 before we'll be able to access movies, TV shows, music and apps all from BlackBerry World.

One of the things that has always impressed me about the pb is the volume level when listening through headphones. Being old and decrepit, please please tell me that this doesn't mean another 'we are controlling your volume level for your own good' European rules that mean I need an audio booster?

Well this is baffling. Right when BB10 rolled out, my PlayBook's WEP connectivity issues just magically cleared up even though BB10 has nothing to do with the PB. It's worked fine ever since, and that includes this morning.
Now? Broken again even though I've not ran the update and am still 2.1.0.134
I have no idea what it's doing.
