I just installed an updated version of the Blackberry Bridge software on my Sprint 9330. My bridge has been working fine since launch.....but I know others have had problems.

I don't see anything different at this point.

    Updated software is 1.0.0.83

Where did you get the update from? Did App World prompt you for the update or did you find is elsewhere?

Yeah, App World gave me a notification that a new version was available.

Actually I do see it on the App World Website now but it says that it's not supported for my Device (Even though my model is listed).

Looks like something is happening in Waterloo though

If you open the bridge program and then the BB menu>device properties
does it say anything new under Blackberry Enabled Services?

    Like maybe BBM?

    Just wondering.

Installed it on my 9700 and now I have BBM

Photo attached...excited and looking for other stuff

FYI. No updates on the Playbook, this all came via the Bridge Update. I deleted the Bridge app and then installed it from the App World website

No texting, at least not for me.

I did notice that URL's and links in emails opened much better though. Before I found that some links were hit and miss.

The BBM app looks great though

Still shows 1.0.0.76 on the website for me. Tried the update option from within bridge, and checked app world on the phone for an update.... nothing. Tried on two 9800s, one ATT, one Tmobile.

    Can anybody else confirm?

Dude. If you read my posts today about my Frustation about lack of updates and the fact that I returned my PB today and exchanged it, to give RIM another 14 days to fix stuff...you'd know that I wouldn't BS

So.... People that have downloaded it... How about extracting it using BBSAK and posting up the files for us to grab early?

    The files you want are:

net_rim_bb_bridge (all files that start with this)
    net_rim_bb_upgrade_util

Comon now! What's taking so long??

I found that the first page that you hit on the website still showed .76 but when I clicked on details or download it changed to 1.0.0.83

Like I said. Delete the app from your SmartPhone and then go back to the website (ensure that the App World plugin installs) and then you'll see the new version.
