Journey from 16 to 64 GB (Office Depot)

Hey everyone. Many people have talked on CB about the PBs available through Office Depot. However they were never in stock. I finally got a sale (work) and headed to Office Depot as online they said they had 1 in stock. When i got there, there was no display and no advertisement marketing the BlackBerry PlayBook. I asked a rep and he said, "We may have one back on the shelf in storage". He brought it out and it was listed for clearance 149.99. I went to the register and found out I paid 100 for the PB 64 GB and received a 50 two year warranty free. #winning

Thought Id share the awesome story with you. My 16 GB has been sold and my 32 GB is on its way out too!

Nice! I was lucky enough to get in on the $149 deal, but the warranty what makes it sweet.

HUH???!!! ok,,, if i'm reading this right, you paid $100 for the 64gb playbook & got a 52 yr warranty???

hope that happens when i pick mine up tues or wed when it comes in,,, i'll ask 'em to see if they'll match it...

OP was saying that he got 2 year warranty for $50, not 52 year.

that makes way more sense,,, i'm wondering if the PB is listed in Office Depots' database @ $100 while publically it says $149,,, that would be a really nice surprise,,, OP's in indiana so maybe it's nationwide,,, man, i'm just chompin' @ the bit now,,, 2 or 3 more days then we'll see...

I can attest to the build-quality of the BlackBerry PlayBook but the 52-year a;;-inclusive warranty should outlast the usable life of the BlackBerry PlayBook. Yeah, yeah! The person probably meant a 2-year warranty for fifty dollars.

It's worth price checking at your local Office Depot stores. I was shocked when I realized how the PB priced out. I couldn't be happier. Already sold my 32 GB and shipped it out today. Good times in Indiana, which is suprising because Indiana doesn't have too many good times worth talking about.
