I think what your qouter is looking for (as I am), is what personal short comings are you talking about, not links to one and two year old articles written by pool typist. (It doesn't have a user replaceable battery so you have lug around a charger ? Please, isn't that the same "shortcoming" with the PB ?)

yeah...i mean the tablet concept itself is extremely limiting....the design itself is going to mean there are shortcomings built in.
This is why i (my personal opinion) prefer the playbook, because its shortcomings are offset by (1) Great price
(2) Good size (i can put it in my pocket)
(3) Free internet (i already have unlimited data on my phone so via bridge it is free)oil.....is it really worth it? - 05-10-2012, 10:39 AM

Go PB. I have PB, Xoom and iPad2 in my home and my personal device is the PB. My daughter likes the Xoom, my wife the iPad. I have found that I do not need a lot of apps to do whatever I want to do on the PB (almost the same with Xoom, but sometimes it's tricky). With iPad, almost everything has to be done with an app AND iTunes. Hate that!

Funny, I carry my PlayBook just about everywhere and always get asked if it's an ipad or kindle. People more often than not know the names and not the actual tablet. I have yet to meet a person who has actually used playbook and not loved it. It's all in the marketing.....

Not scientifically valid. Results are updated every minute.

When I posted the poll the results were:
Amazon - 212
Android - 995
Windows 8 - 533
Playbook - 985
WebOS - 212
So, each option has increased. I'm sure some people that viewed it from here voted for other products."Illness is the most heeded of doctors: to goodness and wisdom we only make promises; pain we obey." - Marcel Proust

kool PB is at 43% i voted too

i really think the PB is just really underestimated. you have to touch one and mess about with it before you realize its power. So many of my coworkers are smitten with mine now and are thinking to get themselves one as well...
8120>8520>9700 + PB16Gb = Rocking Combo!

Given a few thousand have read this thread, the results of the poll are likely inaccurate as many of us have voted for the PB. The population of voters is not an accurate representation. If that page was posted to an Android forum, the results may begin to favour Android tabs.
Just being devil's advocate.
