The more I used my Playbook the faster and more responsive it became. A one week period of 30mins use here and there from purchase�.

Bought the device 2nd hand. Downloaded the OS2 update and created my BB account from initial setup (Device secured wiped by owner).

Have only used one in a phone shop before as reference and was impressed by its speedy performance.

Initial performance of my device was not good. Wi-Fi was only connecting at 1mb or less. My broadband connection is 10mb & other devices connect at around 8mb.

Apps were laggy in use and slow loading. An example was clicking a web link or a program option a delay before something happened.

Well today it seems to have settled down. Everything is working as it should - rapid. Web pages load quickly, OS2 and apps are responsive and it now connects at 8mb.

Can anyone explain if this is normal?

I thought the OS2 update was corrupted and I nearly did a secure wipe.
