Man that case they included smells like a big chemical mess.

Anyone find a way to get the odor out of it?

Mine barely smells now... Just use it and it should go away. My guess the smell comes from just being "out of the oven"

That case is soooooo tight I was pulling it off and launched the playbook right out of my hands........ Forget the smell.. be careful !

Just a little, not much. I liiiikes it *huff huff* I'm frequently found huffing my PB skin.

You can use baby powder or baby shampoo and give it a light wash. Just don't use anything petroleum based (like a lot of lotions), 'cos that will damage it.

I thought it smelled like new tires. Reminded me of a tire store. Smell not as strong now. Was nice of them to include case. However, not easy to pull out and put playbook back in. Ordered a convertible case from staples. bought a highlighter to get free shipping. Blackberry wanted 15.10 for shipping.

The journal case reeks even worse! It has gotten a little better, but definitely still there.

It's actually a really nice snug fit, just push the top corners of the sleeve one by one, and then slide it out!
The smell is hardly there anymore for me
