If you lost your playbook would you get another one or would you get a new tablet?

    I'd get another Playbook.
It does everything I need well enough for my requirements, and there is nothing else as good at such a cheap price-point. Especiallty considering the the amount of onboard storage (64Gb) as one of the main things I use it for is a music/video player when I'm travelling.

    Definitely buy another 64GB Playbook.
I bought it because it was cheap and highly recommended. I didn't appreciate how much I would use it.
Swopped my 3G dongle for a MIFI and my Playbook accompanies me on my daily train commute most days rather than my netbook

I'll buy another Playbook, and the same 64GB. It will be good is Blackberry built an app protector for the playbook is a must.

Ah, this was a question posed about a year and a half ago when arguing the merits/demerits of the pb.

The other similar type question: Would you recommend the pb to friends/family?

    Deja vu all over again.

I would buy another Playbook, definately!
For the price you can buy one (the wifi device), and what it can do... there is no matching the Playbook.

I don't think I would. While I love it for what it does its taking forever to get a proper OS build on it and now the issues with the phones.

If both my pb and phone died on me today I'm afraid I would have to look at something else until the issues are smaller ones even though I would like to stick with BBRY. They are making that difficult for me to do.

Of course. Playbook bridged to Blackberry cell phone, perfect combination! Why wouldn't I? What would you do?

I already bought another...after paying the full $700 for my first one (this one), I couldn't resist getting a second for less than half that much. Best Buy made it easier by doing it six months same as cash. (and as I was paying down a laptop I bought, as well as a big UPS) it was painless.

No, I don't regret not waiting until the price came down (when the PlayBook came out, I thought it would succeed, and couldn't conceive that they'd be deep-discounted). I had a full year's use, to start, and now, if the first one breaks or gets lost, I'll just retrieve the backup, pair it to my BlackBerry and pick up where I left off.

Yup definitely would. Being able to download my mix tape albums directly to the device and unzip it straight into the music app. That ish right there is priceless, my music and video powerhouse, and the fact that it's recognized as a network drive on my computer is great all I do is wireless transfers from computer to PlayBook all day baby.
