    I'd love to see a fully functional OS on the PlayBook that had access to a catalog of useful applications. That said "IF" Apple bought BB, they wouldn't waste time on any existing hardware... especially not the PlayBook.

    As far as I can tell, there's only one reason for Apple to buy Blackberry and that is Blackberry's patent portfolio. But even if Apple were to buy Blackberry (which seems unlikely) we'll never see iOS7 on our Playbook as Apple is, sadly, fully capable of spotting a dead product on first sight and not to waste another breath over it...
