Got home after work today.

Catching up on a streaming show on my PlayBook whilst brushing my teeth, cooking some food.

Move to the living room, plug the playbook into my TV via HDMI and continue watching.

HD Playback. 5.1 surround.

Download some app updates on my 9900.

Phone needs to reboot.

The show's getting to a dramatic part.

All of a sudden, the playback stops!

My phone's still rebooting - no remote control.

*MumbleGrumbleStupidIP*

Get up and to check PlayBook's WiFi status.

WiFi status - OFF.

Moment of confusion.

Suddenly the Bluetooth symbol turns blue, BlackBerry Bridge logo pops up. My BlackBerry has just booted back to the home screen on the sofa behind me.

I'd been streaming via Bridge the whole time.

Mind = Blown.

I'm sure that 4g phone connection had a lot to contribute

The Bold 9900 is the best anchor for a WiFi only PB. As the 4g PBs show up here with non BB phone users this place will turn into a zoo.

And hopefully a happy crazy one...oops! It already is bwa ha ha!

No 4G BlackBerry smartphone exists yet

Yah I've streamed Crackle.com over a BB Bridge connection during my hour-long train commute. The only bummer is I can't use my Bluetooth headphones togetherwith Bridge streaming.

My fav thing is to stream Amazon Prime through HDMI and listen to the audio over my Bluetooth headphones. It makes up for the crappy speakers in the flat panel TV above my treadmill. And the recent 2.0.1.668 update has fixed Streaming for all Amazon shows.
