Hi from a newbie, I have been given a number of BB's for use by visiting students, they came from a company that was getting a phone upgrade.
Trouble is they all seem to be password protected.
I have successfully unlocked androids by dialing engineering codes to bypass the password, I am not finding a way to do it with the BB.

From the above I keep seeing that if you enter the incorrect password 10 times the phone resets..... does that mean the phone is then bricked or does it open the phone up to start afresh?

It just erases and wipes the phone of all info and the phone starts fresh. No bricking involved. Wipe away!
BB then, now, forever...yeah, I said it.
