I cracked the screen on my 64GB Playbook that I've had since they were first sold. really liked this device and still would be using it if I had not cracked the screen making all the touch gestures useless. I was able to connect mt Blackberry mini keyboard to the device and take a full backup.

I just purchased a new/possibly re-furbished 64GB device. Would be nice if I could restore the backup of my old device onto the new device and be up and running with the software state of the old device. Is this possible? Are there any steps I need to take before trying to perform the restore to make this successful?

If I need to re-install applications can I get the applications purchased from Blackberry World to install on the new device?

What are my options here to get the new device up and running a close as possible to the old device?
