How many tabs can you keep open before the browser slows down?
How many tabs can you keep open before the browser slows down massively (i.e very delayed response to gestures, painfully noticeable lag, videos very slowly or never load, temporary or even a complete freeze)?
What is the lowest point your RAM has ever gotten to while using the browser? How many tabs did you have open and what kind of sites were you using?
...and basically whatever other stuff like that you might notice.SugarSync cloud storage - FREE 5 GB storage + an extra 500 MB if you sign up using this link: https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?r...paign=referral - 04-29-2012, 11:38 AM #2
I have had upwards of nine tabs open while doing research, Doc2Go open with a document, Adobe running a PDF, and Slacker Radio going in the background without an issue,
I hope this helps. - 04-29-2012, 06:26 PM

I usually have only my browser on with 6-9 tabs open. It slows down a lot on tumblr. Someone once said the Playbook isn't good with javascript heavy sites so that doesn't bother me, but it also slows down a lot with YouTube. The videos load slower and slower until they don't load anymore at all until I restart the browser. Once it went down to 35 MB RAM while I was using it. Anyone else's does this?
It's slowed down some other times, too. Don't know what happened there. At least it doesn't crash as often anymore.SugarSync cloud storage - FREE 5 GB storage + an extra 500 MB if you sign up using this link: https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?r...paign=referral - 04-30-2012, 02:16 AM #5
I've had 5-10 web tabs open with 1-2 other apps and not had a slowdown that I noticed.
