    Unless Research In Motion releases the number of sold tablets we will never know for certain. With all these discounted pricing sales over the past three months the inventory must be rapidly depleting. However, as a multiple BlackBerry PlayBook owner and user I am contributing in my small way to depleting available inventory. And with recent sales promotions another two or three tablets will be given as gifts at Christmas.

    i would say this guess is fairly accurate.... my question is... are they still making them and planing to sell millions more? or do they have a "playbook2" in the works with slightly different hardware (storm1 vs storm2)...
