I have a IPhone 3Gs & a Blackberry Playbook with a sata plan that lets me tether but the IPhone will not connect with the Playbook.I still have at least a year with this IPhone.AT&T tell me I cannot tether the two after selling me the plan. Does anyone one have any suggestions on what to do.

    Thank you,

I jailbroke my 4s.....picked up a program called MyWi (kinda pricey), but now I can personal hotspot anywhere. Not sure if it supports 3Gs.. check it out.

    ..from the MyWi site

MyWi 5.0 has been rebuilt from scratch to bring iPhone WiFi tethering support to iOS 4 & 5! Will work with all jailbroken iPhones (including 2G/3G/3GS/4) and iPad on 3.1.2 or later.

..19.99.... pricey yes, but with the PB being 199.99... lol..... the value I got for the savings from not buying iSheep.... I don't mind.

I will say jailbreak and either use miwi or try pdanet. Miwi didn't work for me but the pdanet. I just simply went back to a blackberry because of the bridge funtionality.

It doesn't work! Don't buy mywi, I've tried it! Just to be safe get the cracked one from the sinful repo but it'll be a waste of time.
