you need to use the browser and find some movie download locations and save them to your PB or better yet, download to your PC and transfer them to your PB.

Rip your movies using handbrake and covert you audio to AAC. You should have no problem playing them on your playbook. Transfer to PB from PC as stated by jaydee5799.

Are you familiar with sideloading android apps onto the Playbook? Check out this post and sideload the app. You can d/l movies directly to your playbook using it.

Note that you have to change a setting to do so. Go into settings, change player to "Local", and when you go into a movie/tv show, press on the big play button. Should get an option to use external programs to use with the program. I have ES File Explorer sideloaded which has a downloader program built in which works very well with these kinds of apps. May take a bit of installing and setting up (not complicated) to get this working, but once you are done, it all melds very well.
