Apologies if this was posted already. unfortunately, i could not find the answer...

anyways, i like watching eurosports and on occasion when i move around i stream it from one of the widely available sports portals (fromsport, in my case). until recently, i could just open 'fromsport' bookmark in my PB browser and enjoy the game...then, all sorts of crazy adds started to pop.

i thought i found a solution - i would quickly tap the 'full screen' option and the adds would disappear.

then, the persistent pop-ups would override that trick...

so, is there a protection app or something to defeat the adds like, say add blocker, in my firefox browser on my laptop.

There is no way to add extentions to the native browser. You can try different browsers to see if it's better with those.

Simple browser or dolphin HD comes to mind.

Save your money and don't try simple browser. It doesn't stop pop ups.

It has an AdBlock feature but doesn't do squat to stop pop ups.
