Im using a BB 9780 with my playbook and I had my remote control app working last week and now it wont.

I'm already connected through bluetooth and all the bridge apps will work, however when I open the remote control app all it does is say "connecting" and never works.

Anyone else run into this? Is there a setting I need to change?

When things dont work, reboot. Works every time...

Try deleting the bridge app on the BB and do a batt pull.
Reinstall, do another batt pull and then try again.

Have had the same problem. When you leave remote control to use the phone in its phone mode, it won't fully reconnect to remote features unless you do a soft reset (I'vefound)
