I doubt you deleted blackberry world, since it can't be deleted,Through regular app deletion. If it's not there I'd suggest doing the security wipe again.

Do a debrick and all will be there. With DM or link open, playbook off, plug the pb in and choose update and or repair.

Try going into Settings and click on Software Updates & Check for Updates. There should be a small file to update and it'll put everything like BlackBerry World and Browser back on your PlayBook - works for me every time when my PlayBook doesn't have any icons and the screen is completely empty.

Look to the right of the clock- if you have an icon of a screen/tablet witha down pointing arrow then you need to update the sotware. Tap the gearwheel icon and select Software Update. You will need to be connected to your WIFI

Try connecting your PB to a PC running the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager which you can download, just google it. When you connect it, the software should pickup that the OS is incomplete and offer you an update or restore option

It's easy pb off. DM or link open on computer. Plug pb in while off, choose update and or repair. I've done this several times. A wipe removes everything, if you do this all apps will be installed including videos and wallpaper.

Edit: of course if you don't have desktop manager DM or link, download and install one of them.

Go to BlackBerry.com and download the software called "BlackBerry Link" to your computer. After it has installed and Link is running, plug your PlayBook in to the computer. Then click on the PlayBook tab within Link. There should be an option to reload the software.

I have experienced this also. The wipe removes all apps but the browser.

But, if you swipe down from the top and go to settings, you should be able to find the software updates. then you can just run an update and it will put the apps (including blackberry world) back.
