okay so my playbook has a flashing red light (red,red,pause,red,red)
and my playbook's usb port is damaged so it can't connect to desktop manager
can any one help me??

P.S my playbook is a RMA playbook so i'm pretty sure that i don't have warrenty any more

That is all. It does not turn on? Nothing shows on the screen? It only flashes the red led? What happened before these symptoms occurred?

How is the usb port damaged? Can you GENTLY pry or prod the connector back into alignment?

Warranty would depend on initial purchase date and not the fact that it has already been repaired or replaced?

Folks have been able to charge their pb's using the rapid charger type units.

before this happend my playbook just restored it self randomly and when i went to bed and woke up the next day my playbook's red led was flashing
P.S how much more warrenty do i have after the RMA?

In that case, you are beyond the ONE YEAR normally. While I would not count on it, they have been known to fix items past warranty. Only way to find out is to call them.

Again, do you know what "damaged" the usb port?

The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"
