how can i fix my pb calendar after updating to playbook os 2.1 the facebook events and birthdays are gone...

I'm going to bump this anyways, because I have not gotten it resolved...

Does anyone have any idea how to get your Facebook events showing in the calendar again? I have tried everything from deleting the FB account and re-adding it to wiping the PlayBook itself.

I had to do two Debricks and a wipe before I got the PlayBook working. So... Sorry, but maybe wipe again? Make sure to accept the updates during setup.

Yeah, when I did my wipe, I did the proper upgrade and account set up. Everything works fine, it's just Facebook that is not loading events or birthdays into the calendar, even though a Facebook calendar has been created (as I can see when I swipe down to reveal the calendar options.)

hi,

I have been fighting with this since 2.1 came out and was hoping the new update .1088 fixed it but it didn't seem so. I tried to delete accound but notta. Then I signed out of my FB app then back in and checked the calendar. Holy crap my events are there. So give that a try.

under accounts>facebook change birthday reminders to another options then try and re-sync the calendar.

same here, no luck on sync.. just bump here if somebody figured it out..

I don't want to wipe, got 55GB of data on my 64GB PB.

Yeah this sucks... Maybe 2.1 broke Facebook Calendars? I just wonder why this is a hard issue to find help online.
