    HDMI problem
I have 2 playbooks and just lately neither will connect to my TV via the micro HDMI. I have gone to the expense of replacing the lead with a new one but still both tablets say no connection. I can only put this down to a software/ driver problem from RIM. Is this going to be fixed or are they pushing us into abandoning the playbook altogether by slowly withdrawing services and not increasing the apps store.

with one pb after getting a replacement cable....of course no issue with my other
Tablets so I just gave up on on the pb for the tv thing .
Still use them everyday and they are both my go too tablets versus my android tablets
    Good luck

just a random question but were the TV settings correct?

i have to switch my tv to a different hdmi option for it to show the pb,

maybe also check that you have the setting correct in the pb, i seem to recall there being an option to switch on/off hdmi output!! take a looksee

1st- make sure the tv is set to the correct input,,, i.e. i have one for the cable box in, 1 for dvd player, 1 for playbook...
2nd- make sure in the hdmi settings you're set to "mirror"...
3rd- set view to "fill",,, this'll provide the best view...
