PB People-
I love to watch movies on my PB and I wanted to use the PB as a movie playback device for exercising. I have a DVD player connected to a monitor using RGB and a small stereo system.
Anyway, I have a perfectly working HDMI cable that I've used from my PB to my larger TV with a real HDMI input, works like a charm.
So I bought an adaptor, HDMI female to DVI and connected my PB and known good cable to the adaptor and then the TV.
The PB doesn't want to spit out HDMI because it doesn't "see" an HDMI input, or so I suppose. Can't get the settings on the PB to recognize that it needs to spit HDMI.
Monitor is correctly configured, works fine. Any ideas on how to get the PB to output HDMI in this circumstance?
As I said, it works great on an actual HDMI input.
