Hi All,
I got a micro HDMI cable from Amazon today but it does not work....It was only a few pounds so it is not great loss. I was just wondering if anyone in the UK has a link to a cable that you have that works?

Another OP mentioned that some cases used on Z10s didn't allow the USB/HDMI cable to seat properly. Otherwise it just might be the cable or (not that I would want that for you) the port itself may be bad or damaged. Hope this helps.

You checked the various hdmi settings on the pb? You checked the correct hmdi 1/2/3/etc number on the tv for input?

You might check another tv if you can to narrow it down if possible.

Sometimes it helps to turn the tv off and on while playing a movie on the playbook so it senses the signal properly.

I also found this a problem at first, until I spent a few min. in the HDMI settings. I found I was just not on the right setting to have the cable work.

Lots of different wire gauges used in HDMI cables. Anybody know what the min. AWG spec is for reliable operation?

I am in Canada and bought a cable off shop.ca for $9. It did not work on my Sony and worked erratically on my crappy Vizio TV. Went to Radio Shack ( now "The Source" ) with my PB and asked if I could test the cable before I bought it. They said yes and we hooked it up and it worked first time. I took it home and have no problem hooking up my PB to either TV. The cable from Radio Shack cost $15.

I guess we all led to believe that HDMI cables are digital and therefore all the same. My experiences have proved otherwise, however, **** has to freeze over before I fork out the bucks for a Monster cable.
