So im at my desk doing some work to get ready for my acca exams using my playbook with a pdf of my textbook, then after 30mins it hits me.....where is my phone. I frantically search around my room cant find the phone but i'm getting bbms and email through bridge. So i call the phone using my landline but i hear nothing ( did i put the phone on vibrate again today ......?) After another 30 mins the fact i,m still getting emails and the ping of the playbook is driving me crazy. So im feed up now and fire up smartguard on my laptop browser the location finder shows the phone in my house so then i turn off the tv , and radio, i turn on lights in various sections of the house and fire off a remote audio ping, screen capture and camera pic and wait . I cant hear any audio ping , remote camera shot comes back with a black screen so then i turn on all the light is the house and send another remote camera shot which comes back black again. In the mean time the playbook is ringing with the emails saying and audio ping and remote screen capture have been sent . damn you playbook ping !!!!!. So now i've just about giving up and go down stairs to my car to get a folder and there it is my blackberry 9900 in the car passenger seat. ( i've never been so glad to see my phone as the battery was @ 20% ) This experience gives me and idea why does rim create a blackberry finder app which uses bridge which wud literally point the way to ur phone. My poor heart can only take so much. That was my bebold moment

btw that bluetooth range ......im impressed

BlackBerry Protect.... Remote backup, location, loud ring, display message on the screen, remote lock, wipe the phone if you can't find it, and all for FREE! I just wish the would make a version that works through bridge for the PlayBook.
