I've noticed if I disconnected the bridge or turned off bluetooth on my phone, i had to reboot my bb phone in order to re-bridge again. otherwise both devices can not establish the connection with each other.

    any thought?

update: nevermind, toggle the bluetooth off and on on the PL will work.

Do you have a Bold 9700? I have that issue and I don't think it's curable.

If I turn off bluetooth on the phone I cannot reconnect to playbook without a battery pull.

Yeah. It happens sometimes. Less often now compared to the first couple versions of the OS. Usually reboot of both devices allows bridge to work again...

I had this problem with the early Bridge app when I had my 9700, connection is instant now after updates to Bridge and I have the 9900.

I have had the same problem occasionally with a Curve 8530.

My BlackBerry Bold 9780 and BalckBerry PlayBook re-establish Bluetooth connectivity automatically and have since at least 1.0.7, possibly earlier but my memory ain't what it used to be. After the 1.0.8 update the re-connection was instantaneous as I have come to expect.
