If you purchased a Playbook thinking you can run it as an Android tab.... you should return it....

You have invited yourself lot of trouble by asking this question on this forum... Anyway the answer seems to be NO... BlackBerry PlayBook only has an Android Runtime that allows Android apps to be run on it. Google Play cannot be put onto it.... This isn't like Amazon Kindle Fire which runs a customized version of Android...

Tad different, because there's no iOS player on Android
But for now, there's no way to get Google Play on the PlayBook that I know of.
