However, when creating an appointment for my gmail calendar, it does not give me the option for inviting anybody. Although this option is being mentioned in the CB video OS2 calendar walkthrough by Adam (without actually showing how this works which is a bit annoying). Although the calendar shows invitees who got invited via the gmail cLendar web interface. Although everybody praises this example of integration between contacts and calendar app.
Thd local calendar app shows a field for attendees, which is kind of pointless.
User error? Or serious omission of the OS2 gmail calendar sync app?
I have the same issue, though when it syncs to my google calendar (where I can add attendees) the attendees do show up, I just can't add them from the playbook native app. I can add attendees from the Bridge though
There is a post about this under the Playbook OS Forum - someone posted that they had received a tweetback from RIM regarding this and that it is not a functionality of the google calendar at this time.
Hopefully that means that it is coming. Google calendar is pretty popular.
