RIM extended dev free playbook contest till 31st. That clearly means it'll release on 31st. I hope they atleast announce officially before 11

How does that CLEARLY mean the 31st.

I don't see the big deal.

They could make the deadline April 25th for all I care. Is there some hidden rule about this offer where RIM can only give away Playbooks when the thing isn't released.

Let's say it is on the retail shelves. What they can't have a free offer because now people can actually buy them.

Q2(us) ends in march and starts in UK. RIM said they will be release in Q2 and recently they also said early Q2(uk)
So 31st is the last day of Q2 US

my thoughts - RIM take 5 - 10 days to approve an app, whats 10 days after the end of offer date? april 10th!

    coincedence? fate? or mumbojumbo?

You guys are killing me with all of these release date rumors lol. One day its March 31st, next day its March 15th, next day its March 10th, next day its April 10th. Could we possibly say this might be one of the most delayed electronic devices ever?

Quarter of a year is 3 months. January to March is Quarter 1 in US, not Quarter 2.
