You can't.

You can try the Oragami browser or one of the other browser apps and see if that works for you.

Stereotube is a nice alternative for Youtube videos, too. It's a paid app but well worth it. Great dev support too.

I believe you double tap the tab you want to close. The app has a built in help menu and there are lots of things you can mess with to set up different settings for various bookmarks.

For the stock Browser, make sure flash is enabled in settings. You'll get the "update flash" message if it's not.
