    I got today my Playbook that I brought on eBay and I noticed pin is missing on HDMI port? Can someone confirm or that is how is supposed to be? Is there any way to test that port as I don't have MicroHDMI cable right now.

    Ooops, I am noob in PB(it is my first PB ). Removed now...


    I don't have MicroHDMI cable to test right now.

    That's not right at all. The pins shouldn't be exposed. There should be a piece of black plastic covering the pins.

    Quick visual check on mine, and I have all the pins in tact. From your picture, it appears that the pin has been maybe pushed back. I'd try it with a cable and see if it works, as there might still be enough there to make a connection.

    Yeah I thought something looked diff. from his posted pic. !

    It does look like a thin plastic 'shim' in btwn the the two rows of pins.

    The only way for a true test . . . you'll have to buy or borrow the cord. . . .
