On facebook,wether I use the app or go to www.facebook.com I am getting xxxx in place of many of the words. They are only where facebook words would be such as like comment photos events not where the words typed by other people are. Ive included a screenshot

I am wondering if these Xs are in place of words which are in a language other than English....a language which the PB cannot recognise(?)

I take it you don't get the same problem if you connect to facebook any other way (eg from your PC/Laptop etc.)

Does it happen in any other website apart from Facebook.com?
Very strange,as I'm not really sure why the Playbook browser would treat facebook.com any differently from any other website...

If you manage to resolve it, please post back and let us know what the problem was!

I don't think it's those 'picture placeholder' type of X's that Coleen is talking about. If you look at the screenshot she attached, there are actual bunches of XXXXXXs replacing text on the webpage.
