I seem to miss posts from some friends using the built in fb app..... But when I login to fb with the browser, they're all there.

What's up with that?

Facebook for PlayBook is a horrible Facebook app. There, I said it. I am delighted to see the changes in bbos Facebook application as of late though. We will have to wait for BlackBerry10 to get a decent fully featured Facebook application. Not too much longer

And by that, you're actually saying we would NOT HAVE ANY FB APP. For they didn't bother with BB so far (although the BB10 version may be Facebook developed).

Or do you really think Facebook was barred by RIM from doing it. "No! No! Bad Facebook! We don't want an app from the likes of thee!!" C'mon...

The Playbook Facebook app is pretty bare bones and I only use it to do a quick check from time to time. When I really want to use fb, I go to the site in the browser. Mostly I use fb on my 9930 (they're beta testing a newer version which actually lets you add friends from the app - shhhh, you didn't hear it from me ). Anyway, sorry it's not that great and the browser is the best option.

Agreed I love the new beta. I've been doing some cleaning as of late and love that I can now delete friends.
