Is correct there is no need for a 3G playbooks most of us own a blackberry and now with the playbook we using blackberry bridge wich allows us to use our 3G data from our smartphone on your playbook, I think that's awesome and so genius of the blackberry team to make that.

The Sprint Playbook was set to launch April 18 as a 3G connected device. Then pushed to May 8th, and then delayed again till further notice. Now, it seems they have forsaken 3G to go straight to 4G release. Sprint lists a price of $499 on their website, offer expiring September 8, 2011 - so maybe by then? I thought ATT once said they would carry it, but I cannot confirm this.

I share the data connection through my iPhone, works great and I don't yet see the need for a tablet with a dedicated cell radio when our smartphones are connected all the time, but maybe some day.
