help! i cannot open email attachment on 1.0.5
tapping the attachment it will download it then tapping it again will lead me to the pictures folder, but the attachment is not there
it used to work before the update

Yup. There is another thread on this. The file does get downloaded to YOUR PHONE. But jpg's do not open. Excel and pdf files do open and they are also saved to the PHONE.

I have the exact same problem. Either it is a bug in bridge or the new OS. It renders my PlayBook useless for e-mail.

Mine will open .pdf, .xls and .doc files by opening up the appropriate app after downloading, but .jpg, .jpeg or .png picture files only say "Unsupported attachment" in the email with no ability to download or open at all.

So we can no longer open pictures on the Playbook through Bridge email, or am I just missing something?

do a security wipe, then it will work

someone posted something about doing a wipe in order to be able access jpgs thru bridge browser. It fixes this problem too Thank him/her

Yup, works after wipe. And can view pics through the Bridge Files app too.
