and a Doro345gsmPAYG for everytime the new BB9900/Orange3G knacks up.... (btw Doro make great simple big-button handsets for seniors and for those of us with reduced feeling in our fingertips.....) - 06-24-2012, 11:39 AM #5
I'm glad they made an app for the PB, but I'm disappointed that:
1. It has limited reading content unless you are a paid subscriber.
2. I find the App to be extremely slow and non resposnive to 50% of my touch gestures. Not as a fluid as some of the other apps out there.
Anyways since its a Free app, everyone should check it out

For me, it locks up immediately. It is an android app and those just don't work well on my Playbook. I avoid them.

This is great news. I love this magazine and enjoy listening to the MP3 version on my commute home but I love to see these guys supporting the Playbook.
BlackBerry is just getting better and better.

My BlackBerry. Just love it, love it, love it. - 06-28-2012, 07:33 PM #11
I had to go back to the android sideload for one major reason:
offline reading doesn't work on the native app. As I don't have a BB smartphone, the app is pretty useless without an internet connection. At least the android version downloads the entire magazine which I can read during my long commute. - 06-28-2012, 09:02 PM #12
its very slow to load. yeah can't download /read offline like in my droid bionic.
