You can also try Dolphin HD on iPad, which would be closer to PB than Android native as the Dolphin on Android Player is not a port, its simply an Android version running on the Android Player and it would be only as good as the Android Player itself.

Generally one would expect native version of any apps on PB would perform better than Android version running on Android Player for sure.

I'm using Maxthon now. The mobile version for android has been ported & is available in APPWORLD
I find it somewhat similiar to dolphin but with less hassles. I like that I can access all my desktop bookmarks through something called maxthon passport a cloud service. I wish it wasn't an android port but a native app but for me it fills in the gaps left by the native browser. I still use native one as well but like that I can save & organize my bookmarks.

    Exactly my point.

Cross-referencing my video comparison post here for those who are interested in seeing native Dolphin in action:

Lets assume for arguments sake that dolphin is a superior browser. There's no guarantee that a native QNX dolphin will run anything like an android native dolphin. This has been illustrated before with the difference in performance benchmarks between safari running on Mac os and safari coded for windows. Same browser, coded for different OS's, but differing benchmark scores.

This is all pointless theorycrafting anyway. By the time there's a major shift in mobile browsers here all of the hardware and software specs will have changed. Quad core tablets are due in mere months, and 2 new tablet operating systems by the end of the year.
Carrier controlled updates is the worst smartphone spec of them all
