Man my dogs do the same thing when they get into to trouble the look at me like that then crawl over to me and roll over and I just crumble. Truly mans best friend (unless they eat my gadgets!)

My sister's Wheaton has eaten a number of remotes, pairs of glasses and other assorted items. I guess she occasionally forget and another items "bites" the dust. I am generally warned when I visit - LEAVE NOTHING OUT!

Being that I'm looking for any excuse to get rid of my wifes dog, I probably wouldn't mind if that happened to my Playbook so I can send the canine to the nearest pound. I would've been beyond pissed if that happened to me.

You can't be angry, looking at this cute thing

anyway .. if the BT and WiFi still work:
HDMI cable + BT keyboard + BT mouse ... it will be better than just putting it in the closet.

Is the dog by chance a Labrador? The one I had would eat anything including cactus.
    [movie joke] Are you a "labradorian's" owner ;-) ?

Oh, that's awful. I'm so sorry. On the upside, so many places are having PB sales now so why not take advantage of the low prices?
