Does your Playbook lie completely flat on a table? When you press on the edges of the Playbook is there any tipping of the unit? My original was flat, but my RMA replacement has a noticeable wobble. My second RMA unit wobbles as well!!! Is this a common occurrence?

I've heard of this bulge on the back of some PBs, it is a manufacturing defect that occurs in a few here and there. Definitely shouldn't happen at all you should keep fighting to get a non defective unit.

i have a slight left/right movement, i guess you could call it a wobble, but nothing that seems out of whack that i'd panic about. wouldn't have noticed if not for this thread. lol

My PB also has a bump around the logo. Doesn't bother me enough to return it.

For other reasons, I just removed my Otterbox (not easy). A very, very slight wobble.

This is a common occurance. I called RIM about it and they assured me that there is nothing to worry about at all. I am under the impression that it is just relayed to the lot number on the parts used and what factory it was made in.

unsure if rim tried to accommodate to those losers that had trouble hitting the power button and raised it up a bit maybe making it wobble abit. i bought my playbook day1 no problems.

Its like one of those oblong, asymmetric rocks found in Clovis era Indian digs that rotate one way, then wobble, then change directions... RIM used the secrets of the ancients to design the PB enclosure.

One with a wobble doesn't bother me because both Playbooks are either in a case or on a Desktop charger 99.9% of the time.

Mine woobles a little, from the center to the outside. I presume this is a logo issue.
First ever seen Logo-bug !!!!

I have 2 - a 16gb obtained at launch (flat) and a 64gb (wobbles) just obtained a couple of weeks ago.

I can live with the wobble if that's the only issue. But when I lay them side-by-side with identical wallpapers and the same apps open, I notice the colors on the screen of the original 16gb to be richer and brighter. I have both set to the same brightness settings.

If anyone else has two - one that wobbles (and perhaps purchased more recently than a flat one), do you notice any screen differences as well?

Mine's got just enough bump to spin nicely, but otherwise I don't care much.

I did plan to write some sort of spin-the-bottle app for us lucky wobbly-PB owners.

Just as soon as the gyroscope sensor is actually supported... maybe in 2.0.

I ordered 4 16Gbs from Staples (on different days so I am not sure if all four came from the same batch). All of them have the bulge to the extent that it's impossible to type if the PB is placed on a flat surface.

I heard that this will be fixed in OS 2.0 though

2 16 gbs from staples have big buldge. One 16 from best buy almost flat. It has a slight bump.
