Since adobe reader doesn't have the function to write and highlight notes. Does anyone know any good apps that can do this?

I agree - I'm using the demo version right now as I can live with the watermark - but it's a fantastic app to red-line or mark-up pdfs

GroovyNotes works too. Nice app, and ties into Dropbox.

Repligo Reader has been my favorite. The android sideload works quite well.
