Desktop Manager won't install
I'm trying to connect my playbook to my computer to move some video files onto it. I've tried installing the Desktop Manager by plugging in the Playbook and by downloading the latest software from their site. Neither will install. It sits at installshield and doesn't do anything.

Try downloading the Desktop Manager to your PC first.

You mean from the website? I tried that and it still hangs up.

It's not. It's been 20 minutes and the green bar on the install shield hasn't moved. I've restarted and tried installinga few times already.

You could link your PB to your PC via wifi sharing. That would make file transfer a bit easier.

I tried that, but it was really slow. I'd like to figure out how to get this working if posible.

Understandable. Maybe a PC issue try clearing the cache & reboot it.

So an hour into it and it finally installed. Freaking 40 minutes to transfer 7 gbs through usb though. Damn. I thought it'd be a lot faster.
