bought my playbook second hand off fleabay (Before the price cuts )

If I try to switch it to demo mode, it asks for a 'Retail' password.
Tried leaving it blank, but no go.
Any ideas ???

The password is Instoredemo

In case that doesn't work you can shut down your playbook & connect to the computer/desktop manager. Press yes on the option that asks if you want to update.
The playbook will be wiped off for you to use.

mmhhh ... let me guess ... aren't you looking to the parameter that allows apps to keep running when minimized ? In that case, you hit the wrong one. Go to General / application behaviour (word to word translated from French) and switch from default to Demonstration ... The other "mode" isn't for that purpose ...

Yes thats what I am looking at. Did not realise there was/is another 'mode'.

Well yeah, demo mode is for retailers. What on Earth do you want to use demo mode for anyhow?
